Blue Berg, Bright Sea – Arctic Landscape Print

The many subtle ways light and ice interact have long fascinated me. Icebergs hold light, drawing their colour from sun, sky, and surrounding water. The Luminist painter Frederick Edwin Church even considered them to be the very embodiment of light in nature.

This Arctic landscape print shows a solitary iceberg floating in a sparkling sea, light casting the berg into deep blue shadow while the water gleams.

Printed using archival pigment inks on fine art paper.
