Crafted by hand using the traditional screen printing technique, each print involves layering colour, marks, and texture through mesh screens onto paper. A blade or squeegee is moved across the screen to fill the open mesh with ink, which is then transferred to the paper. This process is repeated for each color, building up depth and atmosphere, with one color printed at a time. The technique fits naturally with Nicholas Jones' painting process, allowing him to create delicate veils of light that evoke the caress of light on landscape.
