Dawn, Ilulissat – Arctic Landscape Print

What moves me about this scene is the way icebergs hold the gathering light—a memory of Ilulissat Icefjord in Greenland, captured in this Arctic landscape print.

This was one of around thirty paintings I made after returning from Greenland and Baffin Island in 2018—an attempt to hold onto the most moving moments from that voyage. Even now, looking at this painting, I can still feel the stillness of that morning and the awe it inspired.

Printed using archival pigment inks on fine art paper.
