The Face of the Waters is an abstract landscape print that captures the quiet stillness of distant horizons, where land, water, and sky merge in soft light.

Though the original was painted over two decades ago, this picture still holds a special place in my heart. As I look at it today I feel that I was touching on something important; the beginnings of an understanding of how the world beyond us often mirrors and magnifies what is inside us. There is also something about the way that the enigmatic patterns and brush work combine with the subtle light to evoke a sense of mystery and calm. I still find that the delicate interplay of light, shadow, and reflection in this picture draws me into a serene, expansive space.
