When I painted the original, I was struck by the way the landscape felt both vast and deeply intimate. There’s something so tender in the way the tree line is softened by what could be a drift of rain. Looking at it now, I sense a quiet invitation—to pause, to breathe, and to find stillness in its vast yet intimate atmosphere.
